Classic solitaire can also be known as Klondike Solitaire. The object of this card game is to move all cards into four piles in the upper right corner of the playing space or the foundation piles. The foundation piles are ordered from Ace to King and must be arranged by suit. Moving cards into the foundation piles means being mindful of other preceding moves you would need to make.
Generally, a winning strategy at classic solitaire means using the stock and the tableau piles to great advantage. There are seven tableau piles and each has a single face up card. The left most pile has a single face up card and zero face down cards. The next pile has one face up and one face down cards, the next has one face up and 2 face down, and this pattern repeats itself.Watching the video walkthrough is a great way to learn the rules of Classic Solitaire in its entirety.
