This is my main problem with FNAF VHS
submitted by /u/Bobbyo_1477 to r/fivenightsatfreddys [link] [comments]
It is that the main antagonist/villain is always William Aftons. And when they want to do something different, it’s “My VHS version deep fried a baby. Isn’t that scary and evil of him to do” Yeah, I get it. You want to your version to be more evil than the games. But there’s plenty of brutal villains in the books too, like Eleanor or The Mimic. I’m just tired of the VHS community overusing William Afton.

Why didn't Charlotte stop the others from murdering random people?
submitted by /u/ClussyV2 to r/fivenightsatfreddys [link] [comments]
From my last post, everyone says they're like animals except for the puppets so why didn't she say that they're killing the wrong person each time or just forcibly make them move on so she can go after William alone?

Stop blaming kids for Fnaf's infantilization
submitted by /u/AlienDilo to r/fivenightsatfreddys [link] [comments]
I've seen a common and annoying sentiment in this community. And that is the idea that kids are ruining Fnaf. That they are the reason the series isn't as dark or scary anymore. That's just patently false.
The Fnaf community has ALWAYS been filled with kids. I'm 90% the majority of the adult Fnaf community were kids when they first got interested in Fnaf. I'm one of them. It's also quite obvious that kids LOVE horror. While not every kid loves horror, it's extremely popular among kids. There's something that draws them back. from Goosebumps to telling ghost stories. It's very common. So you can't blame kids for the change in Fnaf's style, as the kids have always been here.
The real cause is probably a mix of Scott actively moving away from it, and the other companies/devs leaning into more sanitized horror. Scott has actively said on multiple occasions that he has never really been a horror fan. He's said that he has struggled with constantly writing about something as dark as child murder. So as we've seen, he's slowly moved away from this. Then when other companies get involved it's probably just compounded on this already existing direction.
This isn't to say whether or not this new direction is good or bad. While I personally am not the biggest fan of it, but I can see why some people enjoy it, or why others despise it. I am just tired of kids getting thr blame.

Controversial question, does William actually die and rot for 30 years in the Safe Room?
submitted by /u/AlternativeDelay1867 to r/fivenightsatfreddys [link] [comments]
I say controversial because I kind of lean more on FNaF3 2015 now with the amount of evidence.
