So I’ve been trying to raid Heatran for days, but I couldn’t find anyone to do it with. Naturally, I turned to Poké Genie. I hosted two raids… and nobody joined. Both lobbies expired.

On my third attempt, I somehow got to the front of the queu but of course, the Heatran raid was a block away while I was still at home. I didn’t expect to actually get a team this time, but to my absolute shock I did. :)

I sprinted out of the house, made it to the raid just in time, and invited everyone. Only two people joined, and one quit halfway through. So it ended up being just me and this absolute legend (whoever you were i love you) and me running a full team of Garchomps. And let me tell you: this was the most stressful boss fight I have ever experienced. We beat that Heatran with 7 seconds left on the timer. SEVEN

Then came the bonus challenge. I genuinely didn’t think catching Heatran would be this brutal. I used 4 silver Pinaps and 5 Golden Razzes!!!!!. I hit multiple excellent throws. And every single time the ball broke open instantly. Not even one shake. I was flabbergasted. (Seriously, what are the catch odds for this thing??)

By the time I got to my final ball, all hope was gone. I tossed a Golden Razz, got a Great throw, and somehow by some divine Pokémon miracl I actually caught it. I just stared at my screen in disbelief.

I can’t believe I went through that much panic for a Pokémon. dont even know if it was worth it

I recently came across these tools to calculate the CP for pokemon’s in Pokemon GO. I found these tools to be most accurate and updated with latest pokemon.

Evolution calculator gives you CP of evolutions of your pokemon and CP Calculator gives you the HP and CP of any pokemon you enter based on it’s IVs. I think both tools are useful to calculate the CP for any pokemon’s evolution.

Thank you all so much for your comments! As for the other Pokemon, I had thoughts of giving Arthur 6 horses, BUT I wanted to make him more down-to-earth, add a deer to the team for him, a dog for Copper, and sheep as a reference to the mission. Unfortunately, it would be impossible to add all the desired Pokemon to his team, there are too many of them :)
